This privacy policy describes how American Mint, LLC (“American Mint”) collects, uses, shares and protects our customers’ personal information. It also tells you about the rights and choices you have with respect to your personal information, and how you can reach us to get answers to your questions. This privacy policy covers American Mint’s operations in the United States and applies to the personal information American Mint obtains in various contexts, both online and offline, including when you access or use our websites or any other applications or services that link to this privacy policy, communicate with us, shop with our third-party partners, engage with us on social media, or participate in any of our programs.
We may provide different or additional privacy notices in connection with certain activities, programs, and offerings. We may also provide additional “just-in-time” notices that may supplement or clarify our privacy practices or provide you with additional choices regarding your personal information.

The type(s) of personal information American Mint collects from you depends on how you interact with us and our products and services. Examples: This category includes photographs, images, videos and recordings of your voice (such as when we record customer service calls for quality assurance).

Directly from you
We collect personal information you provide, such as when you make a purchase, register for an account or create a profile, contact us, respond to a survey, make an appointment for virtual services, interact with us over the phone, by mail or online, participate in a sweepstakes, contest, or other similar campaign or promotion, apply for a job, or sign up to receive e-mails, text messages, postal mailings or newsletters. You do not need to register an account with us in order to make purchases. However, an account allows you to more easily place orders with us.

When you visit our websites, open or click on emails we send you, or interact with our advertisements, we or third parties we work with automatically collect certain information using technologies such as cookies, web beacons, clear GIF, pixels, internet tags, web server logs, and other data collection tools. We use third parties to improve our ability to identify visitors to our website. From Our Third-Party partners
We obtain information from third parties that we have partnered with, such as cooperative databases, data analytics providers, marketing or advertising service providers, fraud prevention service providers, vendors that provide services on our behalf (ex. shipping partners and credit card processing partners), or publicly available sources. American Mint may obtain updated telephone, address and other information about you from third parties. American Mint may receive information about your creditworthiness, including from consumer reporting agencies. We also create information based on our analysis of the information we have collected from you.
From Social Media Platforms and Networks
If you interact with us on social media or use features, such as plugins, widgets, or other tools made available by social media platforms or networks (including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google, You Tube, and Pinterest) in connection with our websites, we collect information that you share with us, or that the social media platforms share with us. From other offline technologies
In some cases, we record customer service calls for quality assurance.
Internet cookies are small pieces of data from a website stored on a user’s computer while they browse. Cookies are small files that identify your browser and provide us with some details about your usage of the site. We use this information to provide you with a customized shopping experience where you can quickly locate the products and services you want to purchase.

Core Business Functions
We use personal information to support core business functions, including to maintain records related to business process management; loss and fraud prevention, and to collect amounts owing to us; to provide and maintain the functionality of our website, including identifying and repairing errors or problems; to undertake quality and safety assurance measures; and to maintain our facilities and infrastructure.
Applicant
We use Job Applicant Information to make decisions about recruitment and in anticipation of a contract of employment. Providing this information is required for employment.

Corporate Affiliates
We may share personal information with our corporate affiliates, including our parent company and sister companies. Such corporate affiliates process personal information on our behalf as our service provider, where necessary to provide a product or service that you have requested. We and our affiliates may share your personal information for use in communications concerning your order and to offer other American Mint items that might interest you. We share certain personal information with third parties that perform services to support our core business functions and internal operations including: processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, shipping and delivering packages, providing analytic services, complying with your request for the shipment of products to or the provision of services by a third party intermediary, sending postal mail, e-mails and text messages, analyzing customer data, providing advertising and marketing assistance, administering our Ratings & Reviews, supporting beacons, processing credit card and debit card payments, detecting and investigating fraudulent activity, conducting customer surveys, providing customer service, debugging to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality, data storage and maintenance, collection of unpaid debt and other similar services performed on behalf of our business.
Third Party Partners
We may share your personal information with third parties that we have partnered with to jointly create and offer a product, service, or joint promotion. We share your personal information with cooperative databases for marketing purposes. Their use of your information is not governed by this privacy policy, but by their own respective privacy policies.
Social Media Platforms and Networks
Some of our websites have features such as plugins, widgets, and/or other tools made available by third parties that may result in information being collected or shared between us and the third party. For example, if you use Facebook’s “Like” feature, Facebook may register the fact that you “liked” a product and may post that information on Facebook. Their use of your information is not governed by this privacy policy.
Legal Process
We may disclose personal information in response to subpoenas, warrants, court orders, government inquiries or investigations, or to comply with relevant laws and regulations. We may also disclose information to establish, exercise, or protect the rights of our company, employees, agents, and affiliates; to defend against a legal claim; to protect the safety and security of our visitors, to detect and protect against fraud; and to take action regarding possible illegal activities or violations of our policies.
Business Transfers
We may share personal information with another company that buys some or all of the assets of American Mint, and that company may use and disclose personal information for purposes similar to what is described in this policy. American Mint may share personal information with prospective purchasers to evaluate the proposed transaction. American Mint may purchase businesses and assets, including customer information.

We may deny your request to delete your personal information if it is reasonably necessary for us, our service providers, or our contractors to:
Complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal law, provide a good or service requested by the consumer, or reasonably anticipated by the consumer within the context of a business’s ongoing business relationship with the consumer, or otherwise perform a contract between the business and the consumer.
Help to ensure security and integrity to the extent the use of the consumer’s personal information is reasonably necessary and proportionate for those purposes.
Debug to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise that consumer’s right of free speech, or exercise another right provided for by law.

The Right to Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information
You may have the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. American Mint only collects sensitive personal information, as defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws, with your consent and only uses the sensitive personal information for the use disclosed at the time of collection. For example, the only sensitive personal information that American Mint collects are consumers’ debit and credit card numbers. American Mint only uses sensitive personal information collected for business purposes, such as for processing or fulfilling orders and transactions and processing payments.
Typically, we retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Please note that in many situations, we must retain all, or a portion, of your personal information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, to protect against fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity, or for another one of our business purposes.
If you have given American Mint permission to store your credit card information and you do not want merchants like American Mint to receive your updated credit card information through your credit card issuer’s account updater service, please contact your card issuer.
Responding to Verifiable Consumer Requests
Once you have submitted your Verifiable Consumer Request, we will respond within the time frame permitted by the applicable law. Please note that we may charge a reasonable fee for multiple requests in the same 12-month period, as permitted by law.
Appealing Requests
You may appeal our decision to your request regarding your personal information. To do so, please contact us in any of the ways listed in the “Communicating With Us” section. We respond to all appeal requests as soon as we reasonably can, and not later than legally required.
Identity Verification
For us to process some requests, we will need to verify your identity to confirm that the request came from you. We may contact you by phone or e-mail to verify your request. Depending on your request, we will ask for information such as your name, and an e-mail address and/or phone number that you have used with American Mint. For certain requests, we may also ask you to provide details about the most recent purchase you made online or by mail.
Authorized Agent
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf to correct, delete or access your personal information. To do so, you must: (1) provide that authorized agent written and signed permission to submit such request; and (2) verify your own identity directly with us. Please note, we may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf.
If you have been designated as an authorized agent to submit a request on behalf of another customer, you must: (1) download and complete this Authorized Agent Designation Form and have it signed by the customer, and (2) attach the signed form when you submit a Verifiable Consumer Request Form.

Our use of online tracking technologies may be considered a “sale” / “sharing” under applicable law.
